 American Monument MONTSEC (55) |  | Located on the hill of Montsec, Cotes de Meuse, this monument is formed by a circular colonnade in the center of which a viewpoint bronze relief reproduces the location of villages and locates the battles of St. Mihiel Salient. It was erected by the United States in 1932, in Euville stone. It bears the names of the American units that fought in 1918 in the area. It is accessed by a wide staircase. The mound Montsec is an isolated hill (375 meters) which offers a magnificent extensive on Lake Madine and Côtes de Meuse panorama. |
